The event has been organized to provide local farmers with another venue to help them sell their home grown produce to the public and area restaurants, in addition to their Saturday Delafield Farmers Market event!

Boost Your Brain and Memory is a multi-faceted, whole person program offering a unique approach to brain fitness. Instructor led activities, guide adults through a series of Physical, Emotional, Intellectual, Nutritional, Spiritual, and Social activities that can lead to improved brain health. Each of the 7 or 8 weekly sessions includes informational video segments, followed by group discussion and activities.

Oct 7    Lapham Peak Colorama Run/Walk

About This Activity

Experience a beautiful fall run at Lapham Peak State Park.  Run on wide well-groomed, ski/hiking trails ; walk on the paved accessible trail or walk behind the runners.   Strollers or wheelchairs may be used in the walk with an optional walk up wooden stairs to the Observation Tower from which several counties and lakes may be seeN.  Walkers may choose to walk the 5K or 10k course also.  The Smokey Fun run is a 1K event around the pond. Families of 4 or 5 should register separately if family members are NOT all doing the 5K or 10K run.  Please go to our website for registration blanks or register online individually. Treats afterwards for all.

Runners will be limited to the first 600 Registrants.

The 5K run will tour the middle level of the park;  the 10K course follows the outer perimeter trail.  The runs start at 10:00 a.m. The Smokey Bear Fun Run  [under 11 years]   will encircle Homestead Hollow, and young runners will meet Smokey Bear himself. <p>

Register at Homestead Hollow Ed Trecker Lodge beginning at 8:00 a.m.; Smokey Bear Run participants may register up to the start of the fun run at 11:25.<p>

Free drawings; you must be registered by 9:45. Pick up items you may win after the run/walk.

<b> Park entrance fees waived for this special event.</b><p>

 Participants will receive a choice of a long-sleeved custom-designed  t-shirt , refreshments, chance  for the free  drawings and custom-designed Lapham Peak awards for age category winners.

In conjunction with the annual Old Boys Alumni Association sponsored Pig & Chicken Roast, please join St. John's Northwestern Military Academy for its second annual Fall Fest Fundraiser during Homecoming & Families Weekend!
 
This family-friendly community event features a festive social atmosphere, fun activities, silent auction items with mobile bidding, a cash bar, and more. There will also be a FUND-A-NEED/special appeal that will start at noon. Activities include a Dunk Tank and a Pillar Head Pie Throw. Proceeds support the Annual Fund, which benefits every cadet, teacher, program and department on campus.
 
The Fall Fest Fundraiser cannot be a success without special donors to donate auction items or help underwrite the event. Do you own a vacation home or have access to sports tickets? Oct 12    Delafield Chamber Board of Directors Monthly Meeting
Delafield Chamber business members are welcome to attend the monthly Board Meetings where members discuss a variety of Agenda Items that includes monthly financials and current year Community Events, Business Events and Business Programs offered by the Delafield Chamber.

Meetings are normally held at the Delafield Fish Hatchery on the 2nd Thursday of each month and begin at 7:30am.

Also-the Board of Directors usually do not have a Board Meeting in the month of July because they are busy preparing for the annual Delafield Block Party: Food & Music Festival that weekend.

Cult Classic Friday is a monthly program that shows cult classic films in a fun and interactive way, and will be held the second Friday of the month at 9pm. In addition to showing a film, the library will provide interactive activities, trivia, and themed snacks for attendees to enjoy. Attendees are also encouraged to dress in costume for a chance to win a prize for best costume. One of Lake Country’s favorite events is getting bigger and better in 2017!  

 

For 2017, the iconic Pumpkin Illumination will serve as the grand finale for Delafield’s first annual Fall Festival.  
Taking place on Saturday, October 28th from 3 p.m. – 9:00 p.m, the Harvest Festival will offer activities for the entire family including:
•Hayrides through downtown Delafield
•Live musical performances
•Trick Or Treating with participating businesses, 5pm – 6:45
•Trunk or Treat Business Tents throughout event
•Chili Cook Off with more than 40 types of chili from area restaurants, businesses, and individuals
•Craft beer sampling tent with local and national brews
•Annual Pumpkin Illumination on The Square at 7PM Sharp!
•Scarecrow Contest throughout Delafield
 
Along with the activities listed above NEW this year will be a KIDS ZONE!
 
The kids zone will feature:
•Laser Tag by The Siege
•Rock Wall
•Lake Country Fire and Rescue
•Face Painting
•Fall Fest backdrop and photos

1st Annual Chili Cook Off

Over 40 area restaurants, businesses and individuals will be cooking away as they gear up to win the 1st Annual Delafield Chamber Fall Fest Chili Cook Off. Attendees will be able to purchase a Chili Cook Off  ticket for $6. Each ticket will get you (1) muffin tin and 6 Hearty Chili Samples. Purchase 4 tickets for $20.
There will be prizes for Best In Show, People’s Choice, and Critic’s Choice.  
•Best in Show is judged on booth display; color, costumes, decoration, and originality.
•People’s Choice is judged based on the number of votes cast for  booth by attendees
•Critic’s Choice is a chili based award judged by select committee members.
 Downtown’s Milwaukee Street will be blocked off and tented to ensure that rain or shine, there will be lots of fun for evenyone.

The Delafield Area Chamber of Commerce invites the community to attend the annual Halloween in Delafield event!

 

 This “not so spooky” event is attended by families dressed up for Halloween, who all enjoy the light  and music show leading to hundreds of pumpkins that are lit in grand style! 
Local area school children and their parents traditionally carve hundreds of pumpkins that are lit at 7pm sharp at the
Clock Tower Square - home to Clear Water Outdoor and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - located at the corner of Genesee Street and Milwaukee Street in downtown Delafield.
